Friends, I read too. lol. I know, I’ve been writing so much this year ya’ll probably think I don’t read. I admit, it is hard to read when your mind is swirling with ideas and improvements and to-do lists, but I’ve still read quite a few books this year.
Here’s one of the reviews I posted in my Goodreads account, which, by the way, is easy to find. This one is by a fellow Word Weaver, who writes in a genre that I only partly share with her: Historical Fiction. Hers lean toward mystery, while mine are more purely character-driven stories. Read on, and check her out!
What Hides Behind the Walls by Sherri Stewart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
If you like a good, clean mystery, this novel, set in post-WWII Amsterdam and Paris, will keep you turning pages! With layers of multi-generational connections, What Hides Behind the Walls is both a moving glimpse into post-war recovery and a riveting tale of danger that looms from a surviving Nazi soldier turned art thief! Dig in!
